Wondering what to wear to your Cryotherapy Session? The simple answer is, not much. Although, you need to protect certain sensitive areas of the body that are more prone to the exposure of cold. But let’s get more detailed on this very important subject! For cryotherapy to best benefit your body, you need to expose as much of the skin as possible to the cold. However, men need to wear shorts, underwear, briefs or swimsuits. Ladies should wear a bikini or a bra with no underwire and underwear. Thermal socks, boots and thermal gloves are provided by the clinic and are required to be worn for protection. We also provide a robe to be worn while you enter and exit the chamber. Other important requirements Your body must be completely dry. Please do not arrive right after an exercise session all sweaty! Your hair cannot be wet. The cold temperatures will quickly freeze any moisture. Also, it’s best not to put deodorant or moisturizing lotion on your skin right before you arrive for your session. Please, no metal. Do not wear any bikini or bra tops with metal wires or metal clasps. All piercings need to be removed! That includes earrings, necklaces, rings, body piercings and watches. You should not have any open wounds. Now you’re ready to dive in and chill out!
